I would like to ask for advice from the community regarding a situation I experienced in a past contest.
Several years ago, one of my contest designs was reported and the contest payment was withheld. However, I was never informed which specific design was considered the reference for the report or which elements were considered similar.
I have already submitted an appeal to the support team and provided several pieces of evidence, including:
* Examples showing that the logo concept used in my design is a common circular/swoosh concept widely used in the design industry.
* Proof that the client continues to use the design that originated from my submission.
* Evidence that I completed the handover process and received a 5-star testimonial from the client.
* A later contest from the same client where they only changed the slogan but kept the same design style.
Because of these points, I am trying to understand the situation better and hope the case can be reviewed again.
Has anyone in the community experienced a similar situation or successfully appealed a reported design case?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
