The handover message chat closes once the contest is over. In my opinion the chat bar can be kept open, in case the client has some queries about the deliverables. There is no other way for the client to communicate with the designer after the contest is closed, be it a small query, the client is forced to use the "Hire Designer" tab. Attached is the snapshot of a client testimonial with a question. It would be great if the message chat is kept open. Thanks.

Agreed. This scenario just happened to me yesterday, my 1 to 1 project client was new to this platform and accidentally completed the project after receiving only a single final jpg file. I already refer this case to support team and now waiting for them to provide solutions on how am I going to send the rest of the files required in handover phase. If only I could message/inform the client instantly, it will save a lots of time and will provide more quality services to client satisfactions.

Hi,
I found one major problem in design hill is, If client release the payment after selecting the design, client not able the communicate the designer or designer can't able to communicate with the client.
e.g:- Client select the design and release the payment but designer not able prepare the final file within that time so designer again talk to the support staff and open the project after that they can able to submit the final file.
which is long process and some time payment will hold for that system.
if the handover message area is open even after payment also then designer and client can easily communicate.

We are actually working on something similar which would ease the process for handover follow-on work. We will keep you posted whenever we launch it.
Generally what type of queries do customers have post contest completion? And for what all things do they contact the designers post handover?
In the meantime, if you have any other suggestions regarding this please let us know.
